This is good practice with any new boat. Give it a try and see what happens.
First of all note how hard I have to try to capsize.
I
try to do the neat racing trick of climbing over the side of the boat
onto the centreboard as it capsizes. Then as the boat comes
upright my plan was to climb into the cockpit without getting my feet
wet.
Alas I can't quite pull it off as the side tank doesn't
have enough buoyancy - but no worry - I simply slide into the water off
the back of the boat. I lie in the water and pull the tip on the
centreboard down to me bringing the boat upright - it is really easy
because of the light wooden mast.
When I climb back in I'm really happy to see that there is almost no water inside the boat and I can start sailing stright away.
