We have a Calendar for the Goat Island Skiff!
It was created in the last month from photos provided by owners and builders and friends of the Goat Island Skiff. Out of 60 images we voted for the best ones using facebook. And now we have a really nice Calendar!Precut Plywood Kits Available for Storer Boats
There are a number of different suppliers in different areas. You can of course build direct from the plan and mark out the shapes. We have a system that minimises the chance of errors. Is it revolutionary?
The Quick Canoe uses Duct tape to hold the plywood together while the glue or glass tape sets up. This can save a huge amount of time.

Cliff and PJ live in Warm Queensland and Wintry Tasmania. However they both like to go the the yearly (June) wooden boat festival in tropical Far North Queensland.
This year they decided to build one of my Quick Canoes. They started on Saturday and finished including putting the canoe on the car roof by the following thursday.

Tom has built his MSD Rowboat in Brisbane.
I met up with him recently and we drove down to the coast towing the rowboat to the river at Nudgee. A bit of wind and a lot of current because of all the rain.
Tom has trimmed down the skeg to get the boat to balance nicely in all directions. Before the modification the bow used to blow around – now it behaves nicely.

Well, I might be in the middle of the chaos of the Timber and Working with Wood Show in Adelaide but I have also received a CD of building photos of another Eureka Canoe.
