The Tecpaper.de website is displaying my boat plans, Jim Michalak, Platt Montfort and others.
Stolen Property
They have not contacted any of us about any agreement and are displaying our plans and photos without permission.
High Prices
They are also selling them at three to four times the price my agents sell the plans at!
The excerpt below shows a price of Euro69, where you can buy from my agents for $20!
Fake Network
The website also lists a wide network of about 18 people – but I’m guessing they are just stock photos.

Well Staci,
Sorry, but you are completely wrong and also know you are a troll or spammer. But it provides me with a chance to make some good points about my product
i make a living out of charging more. The most important thing is the perception of value.
I offer things at higher prices than you suggest but offer a huge amount of value.
I have two levels of plans.
The ones for the beginner boatbuilding or starting boats (Like the OzRacer or Quick Canoes (both the Electric and Paddling versions) are less that US$30 and then for more specialised boats around $70 to 100.
However there is no difference in the detail of the plans which are a complete course in modern boatbuilding. Even the cheaper plans are around 40 pages of step by step detail for the Quick Canoe or around 100 pages for the OzRacer … for $20 this is amazing value.
Also there is a lot of value added stuff for the plans available for free – to people who have paid for the plans…
Oz Racer (formerly OZ PDRacer) – free lug rig version including full sailmaking instructions
Goat Island Skiff – plan for free birdsmouth mast version and Clint Chase has information for a lug rig version. Also a sail pattern for home made sails
Drop in Outriggers for canoes – a version of the outriggers with a flatter curve for boats that are lower to the water
Drop in Sailing rig – converts any canoe or small dinghy to a basic sailboat – three sizes of sail and sailmaking instructions
BETH sailing canoe – sail design and instructions for home making sails.

Thanks Robert,
A lot of people have been contacting the website owner to indicate that he has been doing the wrong thing.
We will have few complaints if he behaves in a responsible way.
It does show how difficult it is to do something wrong and avoid being detected.
Thanks for keeping your eye open for us. Also to all the other people who saw the website and contacted Duckworks or the other designers whose work and information was “borrowed”.
Michael
