Hi Chris,

For the ICW it would be excellent. Can go just about anywhere an aluminium outboard tender can go.

Cautious trips onto the Gulf itself. I have spent some time on the coast and know that many of the places you can enter the Gulf from the ICW become very difficult entries with surf etc with an increase in wind or change in wind direction.

It is very much not an open water boat.

Howdy from the Texas Gulf Coast. This boat looks to be a good candidate for our shallow, protected waters, bays, back bays, bayous, and canals along the Texas Gulf Coast. What do you think?
Thanks,

Hi Jeffery,

It is recommended to use bladder type tanks separated into separate areas under the settees. Probably not the whole volume of those two areas but the below is an indication of the total volume. 200litres a side would not be unreasonable.

The space available on starboard side is approximately 0.5x0.5x2m or about 500 litres to split up how you want. To port there is around 380 litres of volume available.

The bladder tanks should be fitted as close to the back ends of those spaces as possible. And consider the trim changes as the water is consumed or transferred.

There is also considerable volume under the rear berth (or in that space if it is arranged differently) if you have a high requirement for fresh water.
