Thanks John,

It has taken some trial and error to work out how to teach and talk about it. Happily I regularly do coaching with raw beginners at the sailing club here.

Much nicer to go straight to the same methods as top level sailors ... rather than create roadblocks by introducing the traditional ineffective methods to small boat sailors.
