Hi Charles,

Several have used the template shape for other boats. Not really mine, but from Aerodynamicist Neil Pollock and suit foils that are a bit thinner than the normal racing dinghy centreboard. Some of the centreboards are really fat - the Laser centrecase is wider than 30mm which would be lot of wood and a lot of shaping and a lot of weight. So many cruising and multi purpose boats have thinner centreboards. Then the Pollock shape comes in useful.

The easiest and cheapest way to get the foil shape is to buy my Oz Goose plan at $40. It has a full page which can be printed, the reference line measured and sent to me and then I can scale it to match your thickness requirement that will print out at the needed size. Or you can just scale on a photocopier.

Thank you so much for sharing the above.
Have recently built balanced lug rig Caledonia yawl.... and now learning how to sail her, to date with some barley legible ( but very helpful ) James McMullins diagrams on how to sail lug yawls. The above seems to confirm what we are beginning to discover !
Would we be able to use your foil templates on the Caledonia yawl foil shape ?
