More Launchings – Stephen’s Goat Island Skiff

It is always nice to hear that another boat has hit the water.

Stephen built the boat part time over 10 months and he seems quite happy with the first sail.

The maiden sail was fantastic, this skiff was far better than I had ever imagined and the lightest boat I have ever sailed, just glides through the water with very little effort.

So he sounds very happy.

You can read more of his comments and a neat way of stopping the boom from binding on the square mast (you can either build a round or a square mast for this boat – both are in the plans).
