The first launch of this strip planked catboat at the boatshow featured Bob “Rocky” O’Callaghan of Rockford Wines. Public boat shows can be challenging for an initial launch, but the boat handled the water smoothly.
Sometimes it is best that the first launch is less public than a boat show. But it went fine!
Biggest single advantage is it becomes a reliable trailer boat without springing any leaks.

Good evening.
Are plans available for the Fenwick Williams in strip plank?
Looks a lovely boat.
Kind regards.

Hi Neil,
The original plans are available from the WoodenBoat Store.
I’ve made most of the information about our build available in this page.
