Thanks to Tim, a Viola 14 sailing canoe builder, we have a few small but important errors in the side panel drawing.
This affects plans before the DT version. The DT version has been corrected and is OK. So if you have the DS or DR versions you need to correct this.
The filename looks like this on your computer “Viola 14 Sailing Canoe assembly plan Dt secure (some letters).pdf”
Note the wobbly bow profile shown by the batten.
This has been corrected and there is a drawing available here or you can manually write the changes into the plan. Just three measurements taken from the wrong reference line make far too much difference!
This is the corrected part of the drawing. The three measurements on the “DETAIL – Bow Profile”.
