The sailboat calendar is compiled from a short list of 20 from the original 140 photos is selected by voting on Facebook.
Finally the best 12 are selected and edited by the editorial team based on four continents.

Why the price is high – it comes down with the large discounts at this time of year. We plan to make about $4 from each calendar to cover the cost of the first proof copy and express shipping to a friend near the printers. And to cover costs if there are any errors or mistakes. When the discounts are running they come off our margin too. So we put $4 margin on the calendar and only get $1.60 which won’t cover the costs. So for this season we have put $10 on the calendars and with 60% discount we get our $4.
