I received an email from Norm who is building a Beth Sailing canoe at a boatyard while living in a camping trailer.
Any paint or varnish can be turned into a non skid paint without buying anything more than some coarse grain sugar. The texture provides good footing and has no sharpness that will hurt your feet.
I have drawn up a solid mast that will have the same bending characteristics as the OZracer Mk2 so will suit the sailshape that comes with the plans
